MEET THE TEAM

Alex Bassan – Founding Director

Alex is the founding Director of Xander Collective and has over 15 years of experience working across the charity, corporate, and government sectors embedding social value into businesses, charities and government.

Partnering with groups including UNICEF, BMW, Investec, and Berkeley Homes, he has aligned business objectives with social value, across education, youth justice, sport and community development, combining commercial ambition with public benefit.

Alex’s global work includes projects with HM Prison Service, AMHC, Cricket Impact Group, and the Qatar Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy, where he has led on strategy, delivery and long-term planning in collaborative and outcome-focused programmes creating lasting change.

Andy Sellins – Director

Now at the forefront of Xander’s pioneering work, Andy brings over 40 years of experience in the social impact sector. He has delivered programmes in 46 countries, supporting young people and communities facing serious challenges.

As the former CEO of The Change Foundation, Andy worked with high-profile figures from sport and business to help young people overcome barriers linked to disability, exclusion, conflict and inequality. He has a strong track record of building practical, creative solutions in areas where traditional charity models have struggled to gain traction.

He has supported more than 400 youth organisations globally, helping them design and deliver projects that respond directly to the needs of their communities. This includes training former gang members to become mentors, supporting blind cricket teams, and working with youth groups in post-conflict regions.

Andy also advises charities and businesses on strategy and programme development, with a focus on creativity, accountability, and strong collaboration.

Tina Davidian – Marketing Manager

Tina Davidan is a creative strategist with over 15 years’ experience in graphic design and publications. She has led high-profile campaigns across sport, sustainability, and health, working with global figures like Billie Jean King and Anthony Joshua.

Her portfolio includes collaborations with Rexona, Breast Cancer Care, and England Rugby, delivering design solutions that elevate brand storytelling.

Known for balancing creativity with corporate objectives, Tina’s work merges visual impact with strategic messaging, making her a leader in international creative communications.

Nick Ames – Research & Communications Analyst

Nick Ames is a senior communications consultant with a 40-year career in journalism and editorial leadership. Formerly an editor at ITP Media and the Daily Mail Group Middle East, Nick has shaped content across industries from construction to lifestyle and sustainability.

His contributions to platforms like The Ethicalist and his role in shaping corporate narratives have made him a respected voice in strategic communications.

With a background spanning national and international media, Nick excels at crafting compelling stories that align with both audience and organisational goals.

Chris Smith Langridge – Digital Media Manager

Chris Smith-Langridge is a creative visual storyteller, specialising in photography, videography, and post-production. With a strong track record in sport, fitness, and corporate media, he has delivered high-impact content for brands including Red Bull, Formula E, Soho House, and Puma.

Chris’s work combines cinematic flair with strategic brand messaging and storytelling, ensuring each project delivers measurable engagement and impact.

His collaborations with clients like Berkeley Homes and British Summer Time Hyde Park reflect his ability to capture powerful narratives and elevate brand presence through bespoke visual content.

Harry Spear – Advisor

Harry brings over a decade of experience in community development, with a strong track record of delivering impactful initiatives across the UK and the Caribbean.

As former CEO of Caribbean Elective, he led programmes that supported young people from marginalised communities through education, sport, and cultural exchange.

His expertise in social and economic development enables him to drive sustainable impact while creating shared value between organisations and the communities they serve.

Annabelle Risdon – Advisor 

Annabelle bridges the corporate, philanthropic, and charity sectors in her role as Director and Head of Partnerships at Give as you Live Ltd.

With over 20 years’ experience in sales and a decade in tech for good, she has helped raise over £12 million for charities and recently co-authored a funding guide with Civil Society for 2025.

Annabelle sits on the Corporate Engagement Board at Battersea Dogs Home, is a Charity Film Awards judge, and a Board Member and Director of The Executive Association of Great Britain, where she champions business growth through networking and strategic partnerships.

Siv Sivasamy – Advisor 

Siv operates at the top end of the corporate sector and has twice been named one of the Top 100 most influential people in investment service provision by 2&20. He is New Business Director at Charles Square, a leading provider of bespoke, end-to-end IT infrastructure solutions for hedge funds, private equity firms, and global family offices.

With over 20 years’ experience, Siv is known for delivering tailored “white glove” service and strategic partnerships.

He is also a founding member of the Mayfair Collective, a network of family office advisers offering expert knowledge, events, and industry connections.

Nick King – Advisor 

Nick is Managing Director of Henham Strategy, a consultancy specialising in policy, public affairs, reputation, and economics. With over 15 years in politics, he served as Chief of Staff to Chancellor Sajid Javid and advised former Chancellor Jeremy Hunt and Culture Secretary Maria Miller. Nick held various government roles from 2012 to 2018.

A passionate advocate for the power of sport to drive social impact, he plays for the parliamentary cricket and rugby teams.

His work bridges government, strategy, and public engagement, drawing on deep experience in shaping policy at the highest levels of UK government.

James Lindley – Advisor 

James Lindley is the CEO of Castell Wealth Management, a sustainably focused financial advisory firm. Named a Times Top 100 Financial Adviser in 2019, 2020, and 2021, he advises a select group of ultra-high net worth clients and families.

James is a qualified financial planner and a member of the Chartered Insurance Institute, the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment, and the Investment Association. He is also a trusted voice for national media outlets, including FT Adviser, Money Marketing, and World Finance.

Outside of work, James is passionate about using sport as a tool for creating a social impact, especially in the forms of skiing, cycling, golf, and sailing.
